It is critical that I enter each encounter with an individualized approach to fully understand the patient, the concerns and the goals to maximize care. I take the history, exam and diagnosis with the utmost importance and provide the patient with a care plan tailored to their individual situation. All care plans must be mutually agreed upon to promote maximum improvement and enhance the quality of life while recovering from any condition.
I reside in Johnstown, Colorado with my spouse and two fur children – a miniature goldendoodle and a pembroke welsh corgi. I have a great desire for reading books, especially murder mystery. Recently I have developed a thirst for the dinner theatre and enjoy seeing any show. I love spending time with family as well. I enjoy listening to music as well, while have an appreciation for most types. I am part of the Northern Colorado Nurse Practitioner Coalition and serve on the Board of Directors as the Vice President. I also volunteer one night per month at a free local clinic providing primary care for the underserved population.

My clinical interests consist of urgent care to provide high quality care to individuals. I have a great interest in wound care, occupational medicine, telehealth and primary care. Keeping my depths broad allows me to continually gain knowledge and best assist those in the communities I serve. Another clinical interest I have is that of informatics and have served as a provider informatics consultant for a previous organization and worked to maximize workflow of providers to allow for efficiency and enhanced documentation related to the electronic health record. The informatics and clinical practice provided me a role where I was able to experience AI charting and absolutely appreciated the value this adds to my patient experiences.
