I would characterize my care philosophy as aggressive. 1 in every 4 deaths is due to heart disease. Many of these could be prevented with aggressive cardiac care.
Why UCHealth?
I am excited to join UCHealth and especially Will Baker and his excellent team in Steamboat Springs. The opportunity to practice cardiology at such a high level in a beautiful location with all the support of UCHealth behind us is a dream come true!
Why I got into the profession?
I became enamored with cardiology while working as a lab tech in a cardiology laboratory at the university of Michigan as a undergraduate 25 years ago. I never really considered another field nor have I regretted my decision.
Hobbies:
My hobbies include skiing, biking and traveling.

I have three sons: Wesley age 15, August age 13 and Axel 9.
