Dr. J. Alex Sielatycki is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon whose practice focuses on motion-preservation procedures for the neck and lumbar spine. With extensive training and experience, Dr. Sielatycki treats spinal conditions such as stenosis, spondylolisthesis, disc herniations, radiculopathy, spinal deformity, disc degeneration, spinal fractures, and other painful spine disorders. He also has specialized expertise in cervical disc replacement and is deeply involved in advancing lumbar total joint replacement as an alternative to traditional lumbar fusion.
Drawn to the field by its complexity and the opportunity to improve patients’ lives, Dr. Sielatycki is passionate about innovation in spinal surgery. “My primary interest is in spinal motion preservation procedures, such as cervical disc replacement and lumbar joint replacement, to avoid fusions whenever possible,” he explains.
