Additional Information: Heidi is an occupational therapist who specializes in visual processing impairments related to neurological conditions. Her clinical expertise includes treatment of vision loss, double vision, eye movement disorders, and visual–perceptual processing deficits. She works with individuals across a wide range of neurological diagnoses to improve functional independence and quality of life.
Heidi is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS) and has extensive experience supporting patients recovering from stroke and other neurological conditions. Since 2012, she has also worked closely with Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) in hand rehabilitation, incorporating evidence-based hand therapy approaches to address orthopedic impairments—whether they are the primary condition or secondary complications that arise following neurological injury.
In addition, Heidi has been performing driving rehabilitations since 1994 and currently performs Part I driving evaluations for UCHealth, helping assess patients’ readiness to safely return to driving.
