I embrace treating my patients openly and without judgement. When patients leave my office, the most important thing for them to feel is safe and heard. I like sitting down and talking to women, figuring out what they’re about, what works in their lives, what might be that spark, what they want most out of their obstetrical experience – and giving them the very best care possible.
I love being active outdoors with my husband and daughter. I am especially interested CrossFit, wellness and complementary medicine. In fact, I was on Boulder/Denver’s nationally ranked women’s ultimate frisbee team and played for Team USA in 2001 in the World Games in Akita, Japan. Prior to med school, I worked as an advocate for battered women and sexual assault survivors in Boulder County and as a victim rights specialist for the state of Colorado.
