Difficult topics can often arise in healthcare when we haven’t discussed much about the “what-if’s”. Part of my role as a palliative medicine provider is to meet my patients and their loved ones in the space they are holding, and help support their choices with knowledge, expertise and compassion. The hope is that no matter what the challenge is, they have the tools and understanding to make the decision that will be best for them and/or their loved ones.
I am a Colorado transplant, and having lived here for nearly 10 years I can say that I try to fully take advantage of all the wonderful things it has to offer. I love to hike 14ers, go swimming in reservoirs, visit a new brewery, or enjoy all the live music our area has to offer. I enjoy living a healthy and positive lifestyle with my husband and our daughter
