I love working as a nurse practitioner because I am passionate about the human condition. I respect the uniqueness of each patient, and I enjoy developing relationships with patients. My goal is to make patients and their families feel comfortable by showing them compassion and empathy and educating them so they can take an active role in their wellbeing.
My career in healthcare began in the Emergency Department where I started working as a nurse in 2006. When I found myself wanting more time, independence and personalized interaction with my patients, I went on to earn my MSN and became a nurse practitioner in 2014. I have since enjoyed specialized roles as an Emergency Department NP, hospitalist, and cardiovascular NP, and am happy to be part of the UCHealth Family.
Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Colorado in 2016 with my wife, Robin, who is a Colorado native. Together with our son, we enjoy traveling, spending time with our extended family, camping and day trips to the many local parks Longmont has to offer. Personally, I enjoy running, cycling, snowboarding and fly fishing.
