I have a strong passion for evidence-based medicine, practicing medicine judiciously with high quality, low cost and patient convenience. I educate my patients reagarding the potential benefits and harms of every decision option while listening to their specific healthcare goals to tailor their care towards those goals unbiasedly.

I have lived in Colorado sine 2001 and am married to a native Coloradoan. I have 3 adult children and enjoy spending time with them and all my family. As most Coloradoans, I enjoy almost any outdoor activity including hiking, mountain biking, and skiing/snowboarding. I enjoy working with my hands including wood working, home renovation projects, landscaping and auto/mechanical repair.

Research interest for patients

Currently I am not involved in any research. However, my undergraduate degree was in Zoology with a specialization in Genetics. At that time I did much research and was involved in the Human Genome Project where we mapped out many sequences of chromosome 2 including the mapping of the gene involved with Waardenburg syndrome.
