Patients may be understandably nervous when preparing for surgery. My goal is to answer questions and concerns to help patients feel as comfortable as possible throughout their experience. As anesthesia providers, we set the stage for a successful anesthetic experience through building and maintaining trust and rapport with patients throughout the perioperative period.
Considering each person has different backgrounds and experiences, I believe in tailoring an anesthetic to meet their unique medical history and emotional needs by treating the whole person. Through individualized care for each patient, I’m able to accomplish my mission of providing safe, evidence-based, personalized care to our patients so they can return as soon as possible to their loved ones.
I’m excited to have moved to Colorado Springs! I’m originally from Wisconsin but have been in Maryland for the past few years while pursuing my nursing and anesthesia degrees. I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, backpacking and trail running. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit all 50 US states as well as quite a few countries.
