My philosophy of care is to practice empathetic and evidence based medicine while prioritizing each patient’s goals.

Emily grew up in the Kansas City area before moving to Fayetteville, AR to complete her undergraduate degree. In Arkansas, she discovered her love for the outdoors and started hiking, rock climbing and camping. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she moved to Wichita, KS to complete her masters where she found her love for orthopedic surgery. She refined her surgical skills with 10 weeks of hands-on surgical training as well as an Advanced Surgical Training Program.

Emily is excited to start her career in Colorado and explore everything Colorado Springs has to offer. Outside of patient care, Emily enjoys reading, running, spending time with her cat and gluten free baking!
