Emily enjoys working with all ages and all physical abilities, treating each person as an individual with specific needs. Her motivation as a physical therapist is to assist others in reaching their functional goals to improve their quality of life.
Emily was born in San Diego, California, where she also went to undergraduate school at UC San Diego. She studied Human Biology and played 4 years of collegiate basketball. Physical Therapy school at CU Anschutz Medical Campus brought her out to Colorado in 2015. She has stayed ever since to enjoy everything Colorado offers, including snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking and competing in triathlons.
She leads a very active lifestyle with her husband, Brendan, and dog, Benny. She understands the importance of having the physical abilities for recreational activities and hobbies, as well as performing the activities of everyday living. This is what motivated her to become a Physical Therapist, so that she may assist others in reaching their functional goals to improve their quality of life.
