My philosophy of care is function-first and goal-driven. As a physiatrist, I focus on identifying the neurologic factors limiting mobility and independence and developing a comprehensive medical and procedural plan to support recovery.
I specialize in electrodiagnostic testing (EMG and nerve conduction studies), chemodenervation with botulinum toxin for spasticity and cervical dystonia, and the medical management of rehabilitation needs following neurologic injury. I also evaluate patients with suspected radiculopathy or nerve-related weakness, using detailed physical examination and diagnostic testing to clarify the source of symptoms and guide targeted treatment decisions.
My clinical passion centers on neurologic rehabilitation and spasticity management. I care for patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, peripheral nerve injury, limb loss and amputation, cerebral palsy, and other conditions affecting neurologic movement and recovery.
While I do not provide hands-on therapy, I serve as the medical specialist guiding rehabilitation care and work closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to coordinate individualized treatment plans. I also help determine when bracing, orthotics, or other supportive interventions may improve safety and function.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active with my wife and our dog. We love hiking, biking, paddle-boarding, camping, and exploring new places together.
