Elizabeth has 36 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with a focus in neonatal therapy over the past 26 years. Past experience includes several years of work in 2 different pediatric outpatient clinics, as well as experience in both private and public school settings. She worked for 4 years as a therapist for infants at a preschool for children with Down Syndrome in San Antonio, TX, before moving to Colorado. She has been trained in Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Therapy. Since beginning to work in the neonatal intensive care unit, she has been trained and deemed reliable in NIDCAP and has pursued 2 years of graduate work through JFK Partners/UC with a focus on neonatal topics. She was board certified for 10 years as a lactation consultant and has particular expertise in infant feeding issues. She received her education at Utica College in New York. In her time off work, she enjoys reading, cooking, birdwatching, and spending time outdoors. .
