I believe patient education is very important. I feel it is important for the patient to understand their disease process and treatment options. Heart surgery is intimidating to patients. I feel it’s important that my patients understand their condition and the process of having heart surgery, including recovery and lifestyle changes, to help improve the quality of their life.
Beyond caring for patients, I enjoy hiking, motorcycle riding and sports.
