Dr. Patricia Gill returned to the team of providers at UCHealth Infectious Diseases/Travel Medicine Clinic – Longmont, 1925 W. Mountain View Ave. Specializing in infectious diseases and travel medicine, Gill is a familiar face at UCHealth Longmont Clinic, where she cared for patients from 1995-2014.
She believes that good medical care results from good communication and a partnership between patient and physician.“I strive to learn from the patient what the diagnosis is and to educate the patient about his or her condition — together, we can work to improve the patient’s health,” she said.
She enjoys working in the infectious disease field because it allows her to take care of the whole patient.
“Many times, diagnosing an infection is like figuring out a mystery or solving a puzzle, and that keeps things interesting,” she said.
She earned a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
She also completed a residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals and an infectious diseases fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
