I am committed to providing patient-centered care that not only addresses immediate health concerns but also considers the broader context of the patient’s life. By fostering open communication and building trust, I strive to create a healing environment that promotes the well-being of the whole person. I believe in patient education, as I feel this promotes better outcomes when the patients have a clear understanding of their current medical condition and the rationale behind my recommendations. Fostering a trusting relationship will benefit our entire community.
I retired in 2020 from 30 years of active duty with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Public Health Service. I have spent my career caring for those in harms way and those in underserved communities across the nation.
