I believe in collaborating with my patients to understand their health concerns and the challenges their health condition might bring to their everyday lives.
Endocrine disorders are chronic disorders involving abnormal changes in the hormone secretion or its function in different body parts. I was fascinated by how this field of medicine integrates human physiology with biochemistry and clinical presentations.
However, at times, living with these disorders can be challenging for patients due to their complex physiological and functional changes and the rapidly evolving fields of management options. Therefore, I would like to partner with my patients to discuss their disease and its mechanism in depth and assist in shared decision-making with the latest evidence-based treatment options.
I am originally from Nepal. After completing my internal medicine residency in New York, I practiced as a primary care physician for three and a half years in Maryland. I completed my endocrinology fellowship in Tennessee and moved to Colorado, captivated by its natural beauty, warm and welcoming community, and the opportunity to embrace a different environment. Living in other regions of this country has enriched my experience dealing with people from various backgrounds and cultures, which I truly value.
I love traveling, cooking, and listening to music. I look forward to exploring this beautiful state with my husband and daughters in my spare time.
