A CU Medicine provider.
My mission is to deliver exceptional and comprehensive patient-centered care to athletes and active individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve their full potential in participating in the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Derek Stokes brings a unique perspective to his role as a sports medicine physician as a former collegiate basketball player. Dr. Stokes enjoys staying active in his own life, often hiking and skiing in the Colorado mountains, cycling, and working out at the gym. He shares his love of the outdoors with his 3 year old Labrador Retriever and his fiancée. These experiences provide him with first-hand knowledge of the challenges and rewards of maintaining an active lifestyle.
