I find it really important to engage with patients through active listening and conversation. One of my main goals is to help patients, families and caregivers by providing education and information as necessary regarding disease and treatment options to help patients elect best approach for their own unique situation

I started my journey with UCHealth when Greeley Medical Clinic and Poudre Valley Hospital first joined UCHealth. I was then able to work at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs just after they had joined UCHealth. I have seen many positive changes over these years and am very happy to be able to continue with UCHealth, now again back in the northern part of the state.

During my early years as a Physician Assistant in primary care, I encountered many people both professionally and personally who ended up with a cancer diagnosis. This sparked my interest to pursue oncology going forward in my career.

Beyond caring for patients, I enjoy home decorating and renovating, outdoor activities including hiking and playing golf, listening to music, reading and trying out new restaurants. My husband Michael is a high school athletic director and assistant principal. And my daughter Annika is now in college.
