I want to provide the best health care by providing a human connection to get patients on the path to better health. Patients are often scared when they come into the hospital. They have a lot of questions, and there a lot things that are unknown. I feel it is important to communicate with them and help them understand their diagnosis, plan of care, and how to best care for themselves once they leave the hospital. I strive to build a rapport with them by taking the time to truly listen to them. I want to empower patients to participate in their own health care so they feel more comfortable navigating the healthcare system. I find that being a team player and working directly with the specialists and other members of the healthcare team ensure that the patient receives the best care possible.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and children as well as baking, and playing outdoors.
