I practice both family and sports medicine which allows me the tools to provide both primary and specialty musculoskeletal care. I chose to pursue family medicine because of the long-term relationships that I can develop with patients of all ages. I also appreciate both the challenges and the rewards of seeing all aspects of medicine. My additional training in sports medicine allows me to provide specialized care with musculoskeletal concerns to help you continue to enjoy your hobbies and activities throughout your life.

I completed much of my medical training in Ohio where I was born and raised. My residency training in family medicine was completed at The Ohio State University after finishing my undergraduate degree at Miami University and medical degree at the University of Toledo. From there, I completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky where I provided non-operative orthopedic and primary care for patients throughout Kentucky. During my time in fellowship, I gained training in ultrasound injections and diagnostics along with specialized care in musculoskeletal medicine. I also provided care as a team physician for both Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. Additionally, I have spent time as a team physician for US ski and snowboard teams domestically and internationally.
My time outside of medicine is spent with my wife and our two dogs. We enjoy spending as much of my free time as possible outdoors fishing, hunting, hiking and snowboarding. If we are not outside then we are either watching our favorite shows together, cooking, spending time with our dogs or enjoying the great food Colorado has to offer. We also enjoy traveling both in and out of Colorado.
