I have been in the medical field for the past 20 years my experience has been characterized by a commitment to improving access to medical care. I have worked in various work settings, including medical surgical, pediatric, home health, cardiac rehab, emergency department and intensive care. I’m a graduate from Regis University Jesuit Catholic University of Colorado rural program. I honed my skills in critical access hospitals and rural urgent cares, where access to medical care is paramount. Emergency medicine has been the focal point of my professional journey, commencing with my first position as an ER secretary, followed by roles as an EMT, emergency department RN and ultimately a Nurse Practitioner.
When not working, I can be found spending time with my family. I welcomed a little boy in November of 2023, and as a family we enjoy hiking, gardening and traveling.
