According to the needs of the individual patient and personal lifestyle, my practice of rheumatology balances conventional medicine with possible referral for complementary modalities in order to maximize function using an integrative medicine approach. I like patients to be actively involved in decisions about their care, and actively learning to improve their overall health through physical activity, methods of relaxation, and optimizing diet.
Why did you choose to work for UCHealth? I am enthusiastic to join this wonderful group of physicians in improving the health of the people of Northern Colorado and in particular the Fort Collins-Loveland area. Why did you get into the medical profession? I came to practice rheumatology from my deep interest in basic immunology and its role in chronic autoimmune inflammatory syndromes. Hobbies: Road and mountain biking, photography, astronomy, meditation, yoga. Family/Volunteer information: Married, 2 grown children.
