As a family physician Dr. Edmondson enjoys forming meaningful connections with patients across generations and helping them maximize their health and joy from life. With a strong belief that prevention is the key to good health, he embraces the need for a holistic approach as he works closely with patients and families to develop personalized health maintenance plans. He particularly appreciates the opportunity he has in Family Medicine to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages—from newborns to the elderly. He believes that everyone deserves to have their own family physician, and he considers it a great honor to fill that role.
Dr. Daniel Edmondson is returning to Fort Collins after several years serving as medical staff and clinic director at a critical-access hospital and clinic in Yuma, Colorado. He completed his training locally with the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency in 2022 and is excited to be returning back to the community. Outside of work, Dr. Edmondson stays busy with his growing family of four young children. He enjoys sharing with them his love of board games, reading, traveling, and trying new foods.
