I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner. My general philosophy of patient care is grounded in compassion and building relationships with my patients. My approach to care focuses on understanding my patients’ values, preferences, and goals and developing a treatment plan together as a team. I believe the relationships I have with my patients should be based on mutual respect, empathy and trust.

I have been in the health care field since 2008. I started my career as a registered nurse working in the hospitals as a floor nurse and then eventually in the emergency department. My favorite part of working in this field is the many different people I have met over the years. We have so much we can learn from one another if we take the time to listen.

I am a Colorado native and grew up in the Denver area. My husband and I moved away for several years and had many wonderful adventures living in Nevada, Utah and Arizona.

Eventually, we moved back to Colorado and settled in the Colorado Springs area in 2017. We have three beautiful children, two dogs, eight chickens and a colony of bees. We love spending time in the Colorado mountains exploring the outdoors. My other hobbies include CrossFit, running and quilting.
