I believe in partnering with my patients with regards to their health concerns. Most endocrine disorders are chronic illnesses. These require good communication and education to empower patients in facing the challenges they face on a daily basis. I believe that my role is supporting my patients in these challenges so that they can live the best life within their capabilities. To be able to take on this role, I do my best to stay updated in the advances in medicine by engaging in continuous education and interaction with my peers. However, through the years, I have learned that the experiences shared by my patients provide me with the best education.
I like to read and to travel. Since I grew up in the Philippines and have also lived in different states due to training and work, I have a lot of places to visit.
