I believe in utilizing a comprehensive holistic approach when it comes to an athlete’s health. Using a variety of therapeutic techniques with rehabilitative exercise creates an optimal environment for healing to ultimately return the athlete back to their sport.

UC Health provides ample opportunity for sports medicine health care professionals in Colorado, as the Official Health Care partner with the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche, CU Boulder, Colorado State University, and more. I have enjoyed being a part of UCHealth’s comprehensive team of sports medicine professionals, providing comprehensive care to student athletes as an Athletic Trainer at Cherry Creek High School. During football season I value the opportunity to work alongside physicians who also work with the Denver Broncos. Working for UC Health provides growth opportunities, while supporting my ability to assess, treat and rehabilitate athletic injuries.

As a Colorado native, I take pride in my work and have a keen sense for assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention for athletes in my care. My proven decisiveness and communication techniques have enabled me to provide effective healthcare, ensuring that the athletes, coaches and parents understand the treatment plan for injuries – which may include referral to physicians and other healthcare providers to complete the comprehensive plan. I work well in fast-paced, team-driven environments, and truly enjoy following the progress of recovery and return to play for our athletes. I am a true sports fan, and love my role in keeping athletes healthy and in the game.

Clinical interest for patients

Working at Cherry Creek High School has provided valuable experience with a variety of sports in a prestigious, well-run athletic program in Colorado. While I enjoy working with student athletes at this level, I am open to growth as my career progresses. This may include working at the intercollegiate level, which I experienced as a graduate student athletic trainer with Texas A&M football and softball, or with a professional sports program.
