I graduated from St. Louis University with a master’s degree in social work and a specialization in children and family counseling. I have worked with children and families in foster care, the school setting and private practice. My experience with children and youth includes ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum, mood disorders, behavior outbursts, anxiety, depression and difficulties in the school system. I work with families and couples to assist with increasing effective communication, increasing positive interactions and developing stronger bonds between family members. Using CBT, I am able to find the core source for people struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar, and self-worth. I utilize a person-centered, solution-focused and holistic approach in my therapeutic work. I work with the client and the family to determine which approach may be most beneficial, as each client is unique and each circumstance exceptional. Collaboration with the client lends itself to achieving the clients’ goals and maintaining an engaging life. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, my approach may include the use of art therapy, mindfulness, breath work and music.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the mountains hiking with my husband. We enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, which is what drew us to this amazing state. We also love the small town atmosphere that the tri-city area allows us to be a part of on a daily basis.
