“My philosophy of care is to assess and treat movement dysfunction and muscle imbalances with manual, neuromuscular, and exercise techniques.”

Christy started working for UCHealth YVMC SportsMed in 1999. She currently splits her time between the Steamboat outpatient clinic and our occupational health office. Her areas of treatment interest includes the shoulders and spine.

Christy has a background in muscle imbalance and movement dysfunction. She has had experience and coursework in neurological rehabilitation which at times influences her approach to orthopedics. Christy has had extensive training in several manual approaches and became certified in 2012 for Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore. The combination of these approaches guides her assessment and treatment of patients.

Christy lives in Steamboat and is married with two children. She enjoys spending time with her family in the backcountry, mountain biking, fishing, camping, and skiing.
