My philosophy for patient care is to incorporate the entire person whenever possible. I do my best to establish a good rapport, convey empathy and make it known that I am invested in their long-term health and quality of life. It has always been extremely helpful to me to measure relativity; this helps all of us when understanding that there will always be another who is in a worse situation than you.

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, I was a registered dietitian specializing in the care of patients with kidney disease. I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. My favorite outdoor activities are backpacking, skiing, running and horseback riding. I have enjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity in the past.
