Growing up within an Air Force family, I moved around a lot. The experiences afforded to me as a kid through my ever-changing environment and “home” instilled a sense of curiosity and flexibility. Likewise, these past experiences along with my prior 11 years in primary care, inform my approach when partnering with patients and their health needs within an Urgent Care setting. Guiding patients in their health journey through evidence-based approaches, listening, empathy, curiosity, specialty-coordinated care and flexibility are central to my practice philosophy. Additionally, I incorporate complementary medicine into my practice where appropriate, ensuring I’m providing a comprehensive approach to help patients attain their goals of well being. Finally, I believe in the power of “seeing” the whole person. Having a partner and advocate for one’s most valuable asset is essential. That’s why I see my primary role when caring for patients as a guide, educator, collaborator and coach whether managing acute concerns, chronic illness or maintaining/attaining well-being.

I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. We enjoy cycling, swimming, camping, and road tripping together. My greatest adventure yet is sharing in the experience of our two young boys with my partner. Outside of family when I’m able to spare time to myself, I relish gardening, cycling, mountain biking, and indoor climbing. On rainy days and throughout the winter months, I enjoy cooking and all the more in the company of friends.
