I value building relationships with patients. Getting to know patients and learn about their lives helps me understand what is important to them and how to approach their care. I chose primary care so I could care for the whole patient and help keep them healthy. I have been practicing internal medicine for over 20 years, and I continue to learn from patients every day.
My practice mainly focuses on senior care and women’s health. I enjoy seeing a variety of patients and help them manage their chronic illness like diabetes and heart disease, but also look for ways to help them enjoy a long and healthy life.
I moved to Colorado from the Midwest in 1989 and love calling it home. My husband Mark and I have five teenage children who keep us on our toes. We love watching them play their high school sports. As a family we enjoy hiking, skiing and watching football. I am actively writing educational materials to help physicians stay current and prepare for certification exams.
