As a general physiatrist, I see patients with various neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions to evaluate and optimize their function. I strive to provide holistic and conservative care that centers around patients’ goals. It is important to me that patients feel heard, respected, and educated on their condition with a clear understanding of the plan by the end of the appointment. I believe in collaborative care and work closely with therapists, social workers, and other doctors.
I provide the following services: evaluation and management of patients with neurologic conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; evaluation and management of patients with musculoskeletal conditions including sports injury, arthritis, back pain, and limb loss; and evaluation for prosthetics, orthotics, and assistive devices. I perform the following procedures: electrodiagnostic testing (EMG and nerve conduction studies); chemodenervation for spasticity, and ultrasound-guided joint injections.
I enjoy leading an active lifestyle and experiencing all the great outdoors has to offer with my two canine adventure companions. I love the circus and train on several aerial apparatuses for fun and exercise!
