I believe that being a good doctor means more than just a strong understanding of clinical medicine. When caring for my patient I work hard to provide excellent care while also ensuring the patient and their family are kept informed and aware of their illness. It is the human component that provides the most satisfaction to me and I work hard to ensure this doesn’t fall by the wayside while caring for people when they feel most vulnerable.
I enjoy spending most my free time outside, preferably in the mountains. I enjoy running, biking, but I spend most of my time rock climbing. I will be the first person to admit I do not enjoy hiking, unless it is to a rock climbing area. When I am not outside I enjoy reading.
