Dr. Bastow prides herself in her attentiveness and listening abilities. When visiting a doctor, women can experience a lot of fear about symptoms, treatments or diagnoses. By listening to her patients and validating those concerns, Dr. Bastow thinks she, the patient and their family members are better able to work as a team toward a final goal of health and wellness.
Dr. Bastow enjoys the team-sport mentality of medicine and says that the collaboration between the staff, nurses, midwives and doctors creates a rewarding atmosphere.
