A CU Medicine provider.

To provide the best care, it is imperative to be a good listener and empathetic to the struggles patients are facing. I think the best part of healthcare is helping our patients achieve their health goals through patient education and unique treatment plans.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking, singing, playing guitar & uke, dancing, writing, and spending time with my family and friends.

Research interest for patients

My research interest is mainly focused on headache management and affordability for new treatments. In the future, I would like to continue to investigate the correlation between Hispanic culture and how it can delay seeking early treatment for multiple conditions. I am passionate about investigating what is the most effective way to provide the best preventative care and early diagnosis, especially for those in the Hispanic community.

Volunteer activities

I participate in Miles for Migraines, 5k or 1 mile walk to promote education, ending the stigma of migraines and how to manage and live with migraines. I have also participated in STOMP Out Epilepsy and SUDEP Awareness Run/Walk created by the Chelsea Hutchinson Foundation, a non-profit that organizes events to bring awareness about Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy. They provide seizure monitors, service animals, grants for education and treatment for those affected by Epilepsy.
