My patient care approach is to seek to better the lives and health of my patients. It brings me joy to help others recover from illness or prevent illness from ever occurring. I truly enjoy the diversity and continuity of family medicine. Every day and every patient encounter brings new rewards from each experience. I also appreciate how important the community and life experience of every patient affects their health and well-being.
I am from south Louisiana, and my husband is from central California. We have one young daughter who is always eager to play and learn. She teaches us about life every day! We also have our fur babies, including our mini dachshund and a ferret. We are an active family that moved to Colorado to experience the outdoors through hiking, skiing/snowboarding, biking, and swimming. Additionally, I love to travel both within the US and abroad. I have been to 22 countries, and I am constantly planning a new adventure for medical volunteer work or for the joy of travel.

Beyond family medicine, I am additionally interested in travel medicine, global health, public health, refugees, and the underserved. I completed a 2 year fellowship in global health with travel medicine at the University of South Carolina, which included a Masters in Public Health in Health, Promotion, Education and Behavior. I enjoy working with communities to improve health and prevent disease. I also enjoy travel medicine for pre- or post-travel. I have been on multiple medical missions abroad, including work with refugees and those seeking asylum and will continue to serve these communities in the future.
