My goal as a vascular specialist is to provide the highest quality of care that is compassionate and specialized to the patients individual needs. Needing vascular surgery can be very scary as well as stressful and my aim is to ease some of the stress and guide you thought the process. I have been trained in open surgical techniques, endovascular therapy and medical management. Understanding the different surgical, endovascular and medical options as well as short and long term outcomes is often very confusing. I believe good communication is the key to not only help patients understand what option is right for them, but me to understand what their goals and concerns are. I take great pride in caring for patients and strive to deliver the same quality of care I would want for my own family members.
I was raised in Western Nebraska am very happy to be back closer to home after training and working at Indiana University for over 10 years. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, hiking, yoga, skiing and cooking.
