As a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery, my approach to patient care is rooted in communication, collaboration and respect. I believe that patients deserve a clear understanding of their diagnosis and the full spectrum of treatment options available to them. I prioritize taking the time to explain medical information in a way that is thorough and accessible—never condescending—so that each patient feels empowered to actively participate in decisions about their care.

My goal is to create a space where patients feel heard, seen and genuinely supported. I strive to listen carefully to their concerns, preferences and goals, and I view each clinical interaction as a partnership. By fostering open dialogue and mutual trust, I hope to ensure that every treatment plan reflects both medical best practices and the individual needs of the patient.

Ultimately, I want my patients to leave our visits with not only a plan—but confidence in that plan—because they understand it, believe in it and know that their voice was central in creating it.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me outside—hiking, skiing or disappearing into the backcountry with a backpack. I’ve lived in Colorado for about 20 years, but I’m originally from central Pennsylvania, and I’m still very close to my family there. I love both the deserts and mountains, good food (especially when someone else cooked it), and time with friends. I’m a bit of a tech nerd—I like playing around with gadgets and apps just to see what they can do. I have a dry sense of humor and a healthy appreciation for sarcasm.
