April graduated with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science is from Colorado State University in 2008 and an M.S. in Occupational Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2011. In 2015, she completed a hand therapy fellowship with the University of Michigan. In 2017, April passed the board exam to became a certified hand therapist (CHT). She specializes in orthopedic conditions of the elbow, wrist and hand.
