I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Colorado Springs. I graduated from Roy. J. Wasson High School, Colorado State University-Pueblo, and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I love relaxing outdoors enjoying the Colorado weather and spending quality time with my family. I began my nursing career as a nursing assistant before transitioning into the role of a new graduate Registered Nurse. After a period of five years working on a renal medical unit, I pursued a new challenge within critical care. Through my 12 years of experience in critical care, I learned and valued the importance of treating the spiritual, physical and emotional aspect of each patient. By providing this type of nursing care, I developed a sense of pride for the nursing profession and decided to further my education.
