As an audiologist, I like to listen, learn, and guide. Listening to a patient’s story helps me understand their experience with hearing loss or ear concerns. Then, I use my education and skills to learn more about their individual hearing status. Lastly, I use this information to help guide them to an informed decision on how to manage life in sound. I also believe that a team approach is the best approach when it comes to hearing healthcare, which is why I am happy to work at UCHealth with other audiologists and health professionals.
