A CU Medicine provider.
I am committed to serving our patients through high quality diagnostics in anatomic pathology and molecular pathology. I chose pediatric pathology because the approach to pediatrics is so different from that in adults. In pediatrics, we must always consider the genetic and developmental background of our patients when making diagnoses, which is supported by my training in molecular diagnostics. Even though I am only seeing patients’ tissue on slides through the microscope, I always make an effort to view them as a whole patient. This is made easy by the collaborative and multidisciplinary nature of patient care and diagnosis at Children’s Hospital Colorado, making my job extremely rewarding.
