With each patient encounter I embrace a patient first philosophy. Seeking to understand each patient’s medical/surgical problem from their perspective while ensuring I am using my medical/surgical knowledge to find a solution to return them to optimal health. I find great joy in treating each patient as I would want my loved one treated in a time of need.
I chose medicine to have the knowledge and skills to help people in their time of need. I chose surgery because it gave me a skill set to make an immediate impact. I did all of my medical and surgical training within the UCHealth system, and after spending two years away, I could not think of a better organization to practice with. It is an organization with great integrity and a patient first care philosophy. I love being outside and being active. When I am not working you can find me enjoying the outdoors running, hiking or drinking a good cup of coffee with my husband, baby daughter and two dogs. My family is the center of my world. My husband and I are thrilled to be home in Colorado close to our families. We couldn’t think of a better place to raise our little girl than around our families.
