Dr. Prado is a native of Southern California, but moved to Colorado when her husband was stationed at Fort Carson as part of 10th SF Group. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, then went on to complete her medical degree at Michigan State University. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Scripps, San Diego. Dr. Prado has a particular interest in Dermatology as it pertains to primary care. She is adept in minor skin procedures and finds satisfaction in making each patient feel comfortable with their inherent beauty. She believes good nutrition and exercise is the cornerstone of disease prevention.
As a military wife and mother, Dr. Prado understands the complexities of military life. She is fluent in Spanish and passionate about Latin dancing. She is an avid skier and finds great joy when she is spending time with her family in the backcountry. Her fitness routine usually consists of strength training , conditioning exercises, cycling, and Pilates. She especially loves to SUP, play volleyball and tetherball in the summer months. Dr. Prado enjoys reading, cooking and practicing self care.

I have a strong clinical interest in Dermatology. I use dermoscopy to evaluate skin lesions and adept in skin biopsies and multiple other dermatologic skin procedures. I love to collaborate closely with the dermatopathologist and MOHs surgeon to ensure my patients get their skin cancer addressed.
