The most important aspect of patient care to me is that the patients on the trauma and acute care surgery service feel safe and well cared for regardless of their race, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status, psychiatric disorder(s), etc. Everyone deserves compassionate care without judgement from their health care team.
I am a married mother of two. Some of my favorite hobbies include surfing, skiing/snowboarding, gardening, hiking and watching scary movies.
