Amanda started her medical career in 2009 as an EMT in her hometown of Hartwell, Georgia. She worked as a Paramedic for 10 years before completing her Physician Assistant training at Barry University in Miami, Florida. Amanda always approaches her care to patients with compassion and looks to create a sense of liberation within marginalized and underserved communities. She is passionate about providing comprehensive medical care in times of immediate need. She adamantly approaches patient care as a team effort, by believing improvement of any step in the patient’s encounter can lead to better patient care and ultimately build trust with the community.

When not helping patients, you can find Amanda attending drag brunch, losing on trivia nights, or sipping old fashions with friends.
