Alyssa is a physical therapist who spends her time with UCHealth SportsMed – Steamboat Springs inpatient services and outpatient therapy. She has great interest in functional rehabilitative strategies for all levels of her orthopaedic and neurologic patients. She hopes to challenge patients in orthopedics to bring them back to all of their favorite activities. She loves implementing different manual therapies to get patients back to both fun and work.

She was a four year collegiate softball pitcher, making it to NCAA nationals twice during that time. While in New York, she also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA, doing personal training during college. Traveling around the country for internships, she kept her eye on the Rocky Mountains as a landing spot when she graduated. Alyssa moved to Steamboat in 2012, and started working with UCHealth YVMC SportsMed in 2013.

When not at work, you’ll find Alyssa hiking with her dog, running, camping, snowshoeing, skiing, or spending time with her husband, Todd.
