I approach psychiatric care with curiosity, compassion, and a genuine interest in getting to know each patient. I want to understand what brings someone to treatment in the context of their life, history, relationships, and individual experiences. I believe that feeling understood and cared for can be an important part of treatment, particularly when someone is struggling or feeling stuck. I want to create a space where patients can be open about difficult experiences and emotions without fear of judgment, while also developing a deeper understanding of themselves and what may be contributing to their difficulties. I value working collaboratively with patients and drawing from both thoughtful medication management and a psychotherapeutic approach to support meaningful change.
