UCHealth Diabetes and Medical Nutrition Therapy – Printers Park, a service of UCHealth Memorial Hospital, is accredited by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and provides classes and individual appointments with Registered Dietitians and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists.
Medical nutrition therapy provided in individual appointments with a Registered Dietitian for a variety of nutrition concerns.
Diabetic services
- Four class series and an individual appointment with a Registered Dietitian for newly diagnosed diabetes.
- Registered Dietitian (RD)/Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) follow-up for ongoing diabetes management.
- Gestational Diabetes (diabetes in pregnancy) management.
- Collaboration with healthcare providers.

Dietitians and educators
Registered Dietitians (RD)
The nutrition expert who utilizes Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to improve the health and well-being of individuals with different chronic conditions. Registered Dietitians are accredited and credentialed by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Diabetes Educators (CDCES)
Provide education and support to help people make healthy lifestyle choices to improve the quality of life of people who live with diabetes. Diabetes educators are certified by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE).
